I'm just sad about that lack of sharpness in that trailer in some parts. It looked blurry.
But work in progress i guess.
I'd like to know why they can't do both because increasing the resolution primarily it seems is secondary in terms of quality, so why not create the games with great quality and then increase the resolution and make it so they show a simialr quality..it seems like its only a question of horsepower?
I don't understand.
Interesting interview but i got a sense he was just bias in alot of parts of it. Lair looks good but you're all making it seem like it allows real-life time travel for goodness sake.
I'm not interested in the game personally though, so maybe im a little bias in that ;)
I'm surprised. Why are people buying a PS2 when they can save up just a bit more and get a 360?
Are people that poor?
Interestingly he didn't refer to the fact that Sony believe Blu-Ray is ESSENTIAL for their games portfolio.
He only spoke Blu-Ray in the context of movies.
Even the most hardest fanboys wouldn't make such a claim that the more expensive console would catch up to the cheaper, with the larger software library Xbox 360 in just a year.
It won't happen unless the PS3's price drops. I don't understand the point of this article because it will just flame fanboys to argue pointlessly with each other.
I cant believe another PS3 title's online gameplay is still under confusion and what not.
A mortgage?
Wow. Just wow
PS3 selling well?
I stopped reading the article there. That says it all about the entire thing lol.
I dont even need to read the article to know these simple facts.
1. Vista is not perfect but its another Windows Operating System that everyone including the haters will be using within another year or two. FACT.
2. Xbox360 is fine. It could do better but no software is going to push it until the next line up of games are released like Forza 2 and Mass Effect.
3. Profits..? This is Microsoft. Profits in the gaming industry for them isnt a word. But...
If the PS3 was £100 cheaper, i think it would have sold close to double its first week sales. Honestly, Sony need to cut the price of this console and EVERYONE here knows it.
I seem to remember the more expensive PS2 outselling the cheaper Gamecube...?
Mart's point can't really be challenged.
All these remarks of comparing this situation with luxury cars is so pathetic and desperate to be honest.
BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes are happy with their sales because they match the expected sales. Those luxury models whole business plan is order, that's why you'll never see them in trouble if a lower make car out sells them by 100-1.
With the PlayStation it is different. Sony chiefs have already confirmed ...
Saving from what exactly? 10million plus consoles in the market with a good portfolio...?
He's just trying to justify a game without any online play.
Playing your PS3 - Studying - listening to the Radio, all at once?
OUTRAGE!
Let's start a petition! ;)
lol
"My 360 is better than your PS3."
"My PS3 owns your 360"
Can you imagine the fanboys?
Windows and Yahoo Messengers would crash lol
I'm sorry that doesn't make sense.
They were plenty of very good games out for launch for the 360 - I would have expected a console that is so expensive, delayed so many times, to have better or atleast more games out.
There needs to be an incentive considering those facts.
There is absolutely none and thus comparisons with the 360 are irrelevant and even futile.
At the end of the day, Gears still looks so much better and you'd all probably spend alot more time on that than Lair.
:)
